25th ANNIVERSARY OF PRIESTHOOD

A jubilee is a special anniversary of a significant event. Some of these events may include: 25th year of remembrance (silver jubilee) 50th (golden jubilee) and 100th year of remembrance (centenary Jubilee).
The celebration or anniversary of these events has been a common thing since the Old Testament, New Testament to date. In the Old Testament, the jubilee year was a time of joy, the year of remission or universal pardon as it can be read from Lev 25:10,”You shall sanctify the 50th year, and shall proclaim remission to all inhabitants of your land: for it is the year of Jubilee.” The same concept has a special significant in the New Testament in the idea of the Christian Jubilee.
